Biodiesel

Biodiesel

Being environmentally responsible is something we take seriously at Fulton Hogan. That’s why we’ve created our own source of biodiesel. GreenFuels manufactures biodiesel from 100% recycled rapeseed (canola) oil. Used cooking oil from restaurants and fast food outlets is turned into biodiesel by GreenFuels – a more sustainable alternative to diesel.

The cooking oil is filtered and blended with regular diesel or sold alone as 100% biodiesel (B100). Every tonne of cooking oil used in biodiesel reduces carbon emissions by at least two tonnes when compared with traditional mineral diesel.

Our Auckland, Christchurch, Central Otago, Dunedin, and Nelson teams are using Biodiesel blends, helping reduce our carbon footprint.
